Seem like a standard procedure in Sweden... a lot of boats stolen in another country turns up in Sweden with VINs "damaged" as you guys still have not a registry or registration numbers on your boats (?).
I´m not implying your boat is stolen.

From what I´ve heard of others in your country who do have some knowledge about your boat states the VIN ends with a 81 so it´s not a 38KV but a 377 Kaama and has a notch crafted afterwards.
Maybe even some racehistory ?

I find myself a Kaama good too and looking from your former before rebuild pics your boat has a different laminate style than a 38KV but identical to a 377.
Also the seats of your´s gives a clue it´s a 377 Kaama.
It´s a nice rebuild nontheheless but a wannabee 38KV.
