The white is a huge improvement! Working on some diamond plate trim pieces then I will snap a picture when it's done!

Got the hatches off and disasembled and ready for glass beading and some fresh white paint!

Just went threw all 22 pages. Wow! Very Cool..

And I am not done yet but at least she is running. There wi be plenty more pictures this winter as I will be building a new engine hatch and redoing the hatches along with some engine cosmetic dress ups!!

Predator Powerboats is doing something similar. will you be doing a light-weight hatch with balsa core?

No balsa for me! The plywood in the pictures is the core, 1/2 marine grade plywood. I weighed the hatch yesterday and it is 55lbs. Expect to add another 25-30lbs. of glass and resin which will still be about a third lighter tan the hatches currently on it!

Tomorrow I start the fiberglass work! Wish me luck!

Glassed the top side of the hatch today, tonight or tomorrow I do the bottom half! Happy with the progress so far!

Ready for some more resin!
