I'm speechless! That is just cool out-of-the-box thinking!!! I assume you going to install longer studs and go through spacer?
Just for s#%* and giggles, the studs in the Kaama housing are Inconel and almost impossible to get out. I broke off a drive and the machine shop had to drill them out, and we replaced them with larger stainless.

Yes longer studs and an inner transom plate that will also be bolted from inside the boat into the adaptor. Nothing is going to move! I still have to make the inner plates. The drives I have are in very good shape with almost no corrosion around the studs. 2 of the studs already came out because someone threaded a course nut onto the fine thread stud. I will use a bit of heat and they will hopefully come right out!
Very happy how it's all coming together. Next major hurdle is getting the engine chassis all mounted up and positioned correctly!
