Okay - so I mocked up the photo to simulate the pipes being moved down 3"

Maybe it won't be that bad?!?!

What kind of mufflers do you have, if they are pneumatic that has a stainless flap that you have to shut so the water will not go up the tails . Also if you have a enough fall on the tails water generally will not run that far up hill.
Or you can always get a couple nerf balls and stick in the tail pipes while you are anchored.

There are Gibson. They are not pneumatic, I could run rubber flappers on the ends (they actually came with them) or I like the Nerf ball idea! :)

I would not be concerned with water going in the tails if you are going to level the boat out. also is the exhaust tail pipes one piece all the way thru the transom or do you have them going right to the transom and have exhaust tips? most exhaust tips have internal rubber flappers that usually burn out. or get the flappers made for your mufflers

I did not see your last post

Dry pipes until the very tip where a little water is dumped in. Most of the water goes out the dumps.

I can only imagine the looks on people's faces when they drive by your house.

As do I! I am almost expecting to see it pop up on Facebook or something!

Looking good Jim. Can't wait to see that boat reemerge from its hibernation.
