Need some help. I have a ’96 26’ Scarab & a nasty storm claimed my rear port side vent cover. The factory was no help & told me that the cover would have to be custom built by someone & they no longer had the forms to make it with. Anyone here run into this before? Even though the vent cover is just a piece of molded plastic, I want to keep the stock look. Is there anywhere that has these as aftermarket or old stock?

I've been looking also. Same 96 Scarab, side vents are starting to crack near the screw holes. No luck finding them anywhere either, was going to have brother in law (works at a body shop)look to see if they can be repaired. I know that doesn't help you though.
Good luck!

Have spent hours on the phone to many suppliers on the vent covers. Received what I believe to be the correct part numbers from Wellcraft - 68464005 Vent Port Side & 68464013 Vent Stbd Side, but still did me no good. I had come to the conclusion I’m going to have to have these manufactured. Open to any suggestions.......

How much are you looking to spend? If you really want to reproduce the same as whats already on the boat, I can bang the design out for you with my 3D CAD software. You can then take the 3D CAD model to a local machine shop that has CNC capability and have them cut it out of any material you want, you could also upload the 3D CAD model to www.emachineshop.com and they will cut it for you also. The cutting may be expensive because of the setup time for one part.
IMO, this may be a good time to change the look and buy new vents from someone like www.eddiemarine.com, ww.danamarineproducts.com, www.livorsi.com, etc.
