Post A Pic Of Your Scarab!
#385
Ok it's not really a true offshore, but it's a Scarab :-)
Finally took her home, she needs a lot of attention, will take care during winter time.
I was thinking about wrapping the sides, for a quick season fix.....anyone had any experience with boat wrapping ?
How do they seal the wrap on the water side ?

MF, on the contrary your boat is a true offshore boat still. It can still run with the big boys in heavy seas. Your hull is the same as a 30' scarab. That hull was designed by Larry Smith in 1976 and was used till (that I know of) 1988.

By saying not a true offshore i meant that is a CC, i am not used to them, but i think that i will enjoy a boat like that.
Next move, once i sell or restore the Aeromarine, will be search for a 38 or a 43 Scarab excel or avs, probably will keep the CC.

I picked up this well preserved 1983 Scarab II this past July. Anyone ever seen it before? I was told 2 owners ago had it up in Illinois.
