I see you posted 700hp; have you run WOT yet? I am running twin 600 and would be like to know how well you are running and what setup you have? Bravo1, prop, rpm etc.

I got my carbs from Alexi @ boostpower or call teague marine. You might even get lucky and they may have some takeoffs. I love my 31; I just about got it where I like it

Default 31 last year

BTW - The last year the 31 was produced was 98 technically; the 33 AVS was introduced that same year with limited production. I have seen a 98 non AVS; my suspicion is they had some carry over from 97. They are rare but exist.

Last year I purchased a 31 Viper flat deck ... 1992 model ... but its listed as a 31 Thunder on the title . After looking in a old powerboat magazine classified ( 2000 ) I found the boat listed . The owner stated ( One of a kind ) Viper deck on a Thunder hull . What is the difference ? I have nothing locally to compare it to. My hull has a small 10 inch pad running the last 10 or 12 foot of the running surface. Repowered this winter with 785 hp intercooled blower engines. Hope to see mid 90's ???

I have a friend that has a 31 LS Scarab and his girlfriend has a 31 Thunder. I believe they are different hulls but am not sure. I believe "Thunder" was just a name they used after Excel and not a package. I'll be visiting my buddy soon and see what he knows. He's a fan! he also has a 38...

I can't swear to this, but if memory serves the thunder option was a power upgrade to the already existing Wellcraft Scarab models.
