I have a '92 Thunder. I was also lucky enough to find the attached sheet. I am not sure what the regular scarab came with but I know what my thunder has. Check out what it says the hull is made out of, maybe that is the biggest difference??? Also full hydraulic steering is standard and shore power. Yet mine doesn't have a fridge or electric bolsters.

The owner stated ( One of a kind ) Viper deck on a Thunder hull . What is the difference ? I have nothing locally to compare it to. My hull has a small 10 inch pad running the last 10 or 12 foot of the running surface. Repowered this winter with 785 hp intercooled blower engines. Hope to see mid 90's ???
I know that my boat has no pad at all. If you are ever up my way feel free to come and compare.

Got a lil info. 31 Thunder is bigger than 31 Viper (different hull) There's rumor that Wellcraft made a few flatdecks but searching for a definite answer. Thunder was option package... Hope this helps a little

grrrr...I know that it was an option...lol. I wanna know WHAT made it a thunder as opposed to not being one. Engine size ? Shore power ? Refrigerator ? Pop-up cleats ?...lol. Keep working on it sir....I'm gonna start having to grade your work on a curve...hahaha. You figure this out, and the beers on me.
