1989 26' scarab
NEW here to the form. sorry for this being my itro post but its the only foroum i could find for scarabs. ive always liked scarabs and finaly am able to buy one. I found this one on craigslis and was wondering if it was a good deal or should i keep looking. i would like to know what are the pros and cons of this year and model, anything helps, i have not been able to find anything about this boat.

The boat is a 1989 26 sprint Scarab center console. It has a 250 EFI 1999 Merc with a NEW power head not a rebuild. The motor has about 20 hours on the new power head and the water pump was also redone at that time. This is a trully a turn key boat that needs nothing to go out right now. It includes two good batterys ,Garmin GPS map 440s,Raymarine DS500X fishfinder, radar arch, 2009 TNT trailer with surg disk brakes.stainless steel prop and all the coast guard equiptment.
the price is firm at $14,500

I guess it all depends on what you mainly want to do with the boat. $14,500 sounds a little high to me in this economy, especially with something hanging off the back...lol. Dont take this personally, but to me...it just doesnt look right/good sir. Sorry.

i got the same boat for sale with 2003 250 efi on jack plate complete restoration last year for 16k if u want to see it go to ebay , is there now

Not long ago I saw a 26 center console with 496mag/bravo. Were there many of those made? Any other center console stern drive Scarabs for sale?
