Default Scarab 29 single prop

Does a 4 blade is better than a 3 blade for the scarab 29 with a single 525sc?

Is that 4-blade hold the hull up more of water than the 3 blade?

If it is hold the hull up in water with a 4 blade i think the boat will run faster. Is that someone is already trying that 4 blade on this boat with the same hp that i have?

If you have a factory set up, most likely you are better off w/ a 3 blade Mirage or Mirage plus.

Yes i have the factory setup. But i think if i can lift the hull i will gain some midrange and top mph. i want to try an 4 blade like the bravo 1 or the revolution 4. Now i run with a mirage plus 25p at 5100 rpm.

Does anyone have experiance with this boat and prop setup???

What speed are you seeing with the 25 mirage +? I just bought a 25 mirage plus but I am not sure if I have enough power for it. I was turning a 23 mirage to 5450 +/- to a gps 65 mph.

I have get 70 MPH in good condition with 1/2 fuel in tank with a full gas tank 68 MPH.

How much HP do you have ? Your RPM is high what is your engine?

The mirage plus is i think 200 RPM slower than the mirage for the same pitch...

You won't believe me but it is a natural 461 that seems to run good. I didn't build it, in fact I just bought the boat in october and only got to take it out once. It was cold out and the engine ran great! I wanted to buy a blower for it but it turned out the exhaust was junk so I bought a set of cmi's. I changed the guages also so I am interested to see what a different tach will read.

I have read that also. I don't think I have quite 500 but I am close I believe. I can't wait to get it all back together and run it! Hopefully I will be running it on the trailer this weekend.

What is the before and after speeds? With what power? How did it effect time to plane/holeshot?

Single or twin?
