You would not be able to use a Bravo. I have never seen a Chrysler engine used in a Merc setup and the bellhousing is the rear engine mount so you have to have a Merc bellhousing or something custom fabricated. Frankly for all the trouble it just isn't worth it.

My question is why, seem like a lot of work for very little gain, most parts available bbc and cheaper, dont get me wrong I'm all for the custom thing, i build custom cars for a living, do a lot of motor swaps, in fact just did a motor swap in a 71 RT Charger from a 440 to a 540BBC, now he can take the car to the Mopar nats, and Super Chevy...He gets bunch of flak but he loves it....so i say if you got money to through a the wall, and want the wow factor go for it.......

Besides the initial cost and all of the custom fabrication. I see a real hard time selling it when the time comes.

My biggest question is why would you post this in the Scarab forum??

THX guyz ... I thought that this might be a minor PITA ... but it seems that it might be way-more than that. The reason why I am posting this here .. is that I do have a line on that ruff Scarab that needs motors. JUST trying to get some food-for-thought on this new "hobby" I would like to start.
