Default 29' w/ 350 mags... what props?

Have any of you guys experimented with different prop set ups? I've got the Bravo/350 mpi mag setup and was wondering what everyone was running and what top speed to expect.

I have a 30 with 350's and TRS and I run 21p but it will run out to around 5200. I always wanted to step up to 23p and see what happens.

Most guys I know are running Mirage Plus 23s on the 29.
when I had mine I went from 23s to labbed Mirage Plus 25s. It gained 1 to 2 mph, but truthfully was not worth it IMO.

Just wondering what it takes to get to mid 70's, without tearing the motors apart.

You will need more HP or put Blackhawk drive on them.

The p-29 with Blackhawk drive run 75mph i think.

The P-29s run 75-77 but Blackhawks alone wouldnt do it. The P-29 is about 700 pounds lighter due to the Kevlar layup and it also has a slighlty different bottom configuration in that that are no wedges molded in between the outer lifting strake and the chine.

With some set-up tweaking you can get into the low 70s, after that you are going to need power to go further.

So I looked at the pitch on mine (new boat to me in the spring) and was told that the props were original. What I found is that they are mirage 21s, 3 blade. What would going to a 25 4 blade do for me. I ask because someone I know might have some to sell me.
