I am looking to try a -2 shortie on my single Scarab 29 with arond 800hp blower engine.
Now i am runing 80 mph gps and in 1 foot chops water the boat start to dance left and right, is the -2 shortie can help me for that situation also can i improve my top speed?

What prop are you running three blade or four blade We raised my engines and drives up 2 1/2 inches and my boat handles so much better now it will not plane off with three blades any more iam using 24 pitch four blades now

I am runing 4 blade 26 pitch lab planing is realy not an isue for now.

I had the exact setup in my 97 29 put a -2 on it you'll love it will pick up 5mph and handle much better

What lower imco or speedmaster? and what prop setup with that -2?
5 mph is a huge gain and better handling, i think its a good investisment to go!

It was an imco lower I used a 26 bravo one 4 blade and spun it to 5900 Rpms but I did have the bottom blue printed but I did that before I built the blower motor and imco lower on
