Buddy of mine uses sherwin Williams 2 part epoxy. I've always used Pratt & lambert palgard. Owned by sherwin so it's probably same stuff. White epoxy with gloss activator. 2 coats

Just so you know the parts that we painted were with Valspar's polyurethane topcoat 2 part. It works great with a brush and roller.

This is what I used based on your advice. Very happy with the results.

Haven't worked on it lately but I'm hoping one motor is ready to dyno by the end of December. All parts are in and crank is balanced. Dart big M billet cap Block is debured and about ready for honing. Sold transom assemblies and got brand new hp assemblies. Ordering custom grind cam next week after we recheck valve springs was going to run a little bit smaller cam but decided to a little bigger .714 .714 260 [email protected] on 114, 0 advance ground in installed at 110 to get 4 deg advance. Should be be good power and still idle

Bilge is a bit closer for paint. Pain getting all loose paint back down to gel coat to repaint. There was a few places flicking so I wasn't going to take any chances Just grind it all way down.

I see you took off the transom assemblies. How is the condition of the transom itself? Any moisture?
