I thought your 30' was pretty, but this one is just "next level"!!! (I'm most excited about PAINT!!!)

Thanks yeah I’m ready for paint too. Billy put three liberal coats of slick sand on the bottom of the engine hatch today.

lokks like a pretty good smooth finish in pictures! i am curious to hear idf this slick sand does not crack once abused in waves though...
but nice work again !

Yeah I have full faith in it. All the prep work from the beginning has been with 80 grit. That’s a good scratch for mechanical adhesion. On the bottom side here I’m going for smooth over straight. It was very rough before. I buzzed it with a DA and sprayed it with one coat of urethane primer. Tomorrow I’ll fit it in the boat a final time, then prep the top for urethane primer.

Believe me I’m ready for that myself. 😁

I went ahead and got the boat hanging over the trailer to get ready to weld the brackets on the frame. I’ve got some treated 4x6 and 2x4’s to use as bunks. I like the way the boat looks on the trailer. The trailer was built for an outerlimits 42, it’s a tad big for my boat which is fine by me, my 30’ scarab trailer is a little small for the boat. I also really like the drive guard. I might have to cut on the winch pedestal up front, it may be too tall...

As always more great work your doing

4x6's standing on edge under rear portion of boat 2x4's flat out midway to bow?...thinking of how you intend to place the bunks.

Yes on the front, On the rear I am thinking of supporting the lifting strakes with the 4X6's either flat or standing up like it was originally.
