Thanks guys. We took the boat to lake Guntersville yesterday. About 1 1/4 hour drive, It was the first time we’ve been anywhere other than the local river/lake with it. I was nervous, but It was an absolutely perfect day, like 80 degrees and breezy. Boat did awesome as well

Thanks again guys. I’ve been working on some wiring and other small things. I’ve also been trying to figure out why my port motor oil temp climbs dramatically above 3500 rpm. I finally took the oil thermostat apart and discovered it was missing the spring. Bill Lawson at ateco had Improved racing send me a rebuild kit which included the spring. In other news I’m trying out some more aggressive props. I put a set of 4 blade 18” diameter 32 pitch (the ones I had made were 29 pitch) on and ran them today. I was concerned my engines wouldn’t be up to the task. Bit the boat got on plane easy and we saw 85mph @5200rpm. And surprisingly the engines had plenty of power left! I’m looking into trying some 34 pitch props. It would be nice to see 90mph. This boats turned into more of a hot rod than I thought.
