Bevel each crack down to the glass, feather out the trench, cut some 1708 and lay in there. If you have a lot in one spot (looks like you do) just take the whole area down to the glass and cut out a sheet of 1708 and lay in there. What do you think Dan? You prolly have more experience with willcracks..

Yes I’d grind that all down lay some mat on it use a peak ply or wax paper on top. Them after it dries remove sand with 36 and skim coat. When you do a area like that I like to use gel coat over the repair. Helps to fill in and block flat. You can check out my repairs on cracks on my Topgun restoration thread as I had a lot of them lol cheers

Akattack, I’ll check the bottom for hook at some point. I haven’t forgotten about it.
I’ve been working the deck the last few weeks. A wise old boat guy told me “these old boats ain’t straight”. (Either Dan or Dave or both lol) They were right.
Looking down the edge of my deck, my starboard side isn’t too bad. Port side is horrible. Starboard side has a constant crown bow to stern, port side is irregular stem to stern lol. When I put the deck back on I put it back in the original screw holes. it was just irregular from the factory. I’m trying to get this to an acceptable level with filler and a block. I plan on no non skid on my deck so I’ve gotta get it pretty straight.
Also there is a monster high spot in the center of the deck just behind the 2nd bulkhead. And it’s not caused by the bulkhead as there is 1/4” clearance on each side. It’ll just have to be a “feature”. 😜
