I've only seen a couple of those around the bay. I thought they were 21 footers? They look rather tiny, at least the ones I've seen.

After owning an 18' Donzi for years I recently purchased an '86 Scarab1. The year I have is 21' exactly, I measured the centerling length myself. I know in later years they shortened up the freeboard, elimaniting the cuddy. I think the ones in the early 90's are 22'. Mine seems like a fairly heavy hull, it takes the waves very well. A very nicely built boat. I'd be interested to hear from other Scarab1 owners.
