Default Artwork identification?

Afternoon Fellas, does anyone know who penned the artwork in this ad? Thanks in advance!

Thanks Dan, the reason I asked is because the throttle hand in the upper left hand corner is actually a piece thats one in itself. I heard that there was in fact an individual who did it but unfortunately his name escapes me. I want a print of the throttle hand portion. I’ll attach a pic of a massively scaled down version of what I have..Rumor has it that thats Miami in the background. An element thats not in the Ad. I love the piece, It really speaks to me. If I blow this image up it just pixelates. I’ve tried several avanues from having the image digitally inhanced to having the image totally recreated. Dead ends all of them..

Default Beer is beer, but when it comes to boats, only Team Scarab suffices.

I assume that you've found the Sports Illustrated May 22th, 1980 ad. If I was at home I believe my high res. PC screen should be able to read the artist's signature. Keep you posted. Since I'm an outboard Team Scarab guy, I'm drinking Bud Light.

Tried it on my phone, but I think working with the Sports Illustraded ad on a real computer might work for you. Best of luck.
