Default 29 Scarab project

So I kinda fell into a 1995 29 Scarab. Boat has twin 350s and alphas. Was in great mechanical shape when we pulled it apart for the customer 2 years ago so he could get some transom and stringer rot taken care of. He lost interest and long story short a deal was struck and now its mine.

I always like those smaller Scarabs. That look nice from the outside, but look like you got a lot of work ahead of you. Good Luck and start posting pic when you tear into it.

Thanks

its not TOO horrible, we've definitely seen worse. Glass guy said 3k to fix it all so im gussing 3500 to 4000 by the time he finishes pulling it apart and finding the rest of it.

I need another project boat like a hole in the head. Wife wasn't too happy. Lol

The vinyl has me more pissed then anything. My detailer has tried everything we have and we can't get the mildew off. Got some other stuff on order to try also.

Well, if you lose interest let me know. It’s not exactly what we’re looking for but pretty close.

Joking that if you tire of the project as well to let me know as we’re softly keeping our eyes open for a 29’ Scarab.

Well, the trick then is to sell it to me for no profit and everyone feels good!

J/K - enjoy, and I really look forward to the build thread!
