Hey Everyone. My father and I bought a Scarab last weekend! The boat underwent a partial restoration and repower a few years ago. Recently built Supercharged 540 tall decks with speedmaster 3's. New transom and Freshly rigged back seat to stern. Wanted something with a big cabin and roomy cockpit, even better that it's staggered with 700hp a side! A previous owner deleted the windshield for a race fairing, which looks awesome in my opinion. The boat is far from perfect but with the power/drive combo and solid hull for the money, we couldn't walk away. Here's a few pictures!

This winter I would like to install full hydraulic steering, new gauges, new bolsters, etc. Absolutely thrilled to finally own a Scarab. Me and my dad have talked about it for years. Any upgrade suggestions welcome!

Excellent find for sure!
Find out the gear ratio. 1:68 don't have much mesh in the upper gears and will tear them up with that much power and weight.
