From: Newport Coast, California.
A fellow Jonas in Sweden, signature 38KV on OSO ran this 38 KV with twin 598", 2 x 748 hp, and 6 drives.
Topspeed in the mid '80s mph. His notch was almost identical to yours. I would never notch an I/O and even
very few outboards. You pick up a handful mph, but usually the boat starts porpoising since weight distribution
gets moved too far aft in most examples. Notched boats are for rigging wizards. Hope Yours perform though.
Best of luck.
The factory notch on my ex. Swedish race boat. 28 degrees at transom.

My boat has ran the best of 78 mph at 5100 rpms with a bravo 1 drive and a set of bravo 28's props. I should have prob had bravo 26's on the boat. The motors made 615 a side with 502's. The boat is also a Kevlar layup as well. We shall see what the difference makes
