puder,

It's actually for me. I'm just kinda keepin my eyes open for that special deal. Doesn't necassarily have to be an Excel. Just a boat that interests me in the size range for the right money.

1990 28' Scarab Excel is selling for mid-teens in this area. Mine sold last season for $16,500 with new 454ci 400HP engine in it. No trailer.

1990 Scarab Excel specs from the brochure:
LOA 28' 3" (w/the bolt on swim platform)
Hull Length: 26'
Beam 7' 8"
Dry Weight: 4600 lbs
Deadrise 23 degrees
Draft up 23"
Draft down 38"
Clearance: 4' normal, 5'6" with radar arch
Fuel capacity: 80 gallons

1990 34 footers are going for mid-$30's to lower $40's.

Hello Buck, Im not really up
on the Excel its a Wellcraft
boat and Im more a Team Scarab
Flat deck (SoCal) type and I
left Scarab about 4 years ago
now with some bad feelings.
All the old info is boxedup

the key got lost.

It's not that I'm looking for a Scarab Excel. I'm just looking for the right boat for the right price in the 28-30' range. I need to be able to sell mine or trade it. The only reason this boat even caught my eye is because of a possible trade opportunity that I saw, nothing more. It could be 5 years until I find that perfect deal. Just being patient.
