I have bought and sold 7 cars and boats, through ebay...5 completed ...2 stiffed. The 3 boats were all less than 15k so not that big a risk.

I am happy with the amount, you always want more though.... I am glad it sold, it is the middle of January.... I just did not want to hold onto two boats through the winter.

I have sold and bought tons of stuff on Ebay with several big ticket items, some were long distant buys that went well. I have only had one bad experience with Ebay. I drug my 6 month pregnant wife from Cincy to Oklahoma City and back in a pickup truck with a car trailer in a day and a half (round trip) only to find that the car was not represented very well. Needless to say I will NEVER do this to someone else.
