Default 29 Scarab props, spinning in or out?

Has anyone tried spinning the props in on a 29 Scarab? Mine and every picture I have seen they are spinning out. I understand that a small amount of docking ease will be lost with spinning in but there me some advantage of speed and less prop blowout with spinning in.

Thanks

Spinning in cause a very bad porpoise problem. For anyone who cares.

If I'm not mistaken the 28XLT is a different bottom design than the 29. This would give a different result with the direction of rotation of the props.

Depending on the hull some speed may be gained by spinning in, 1-2 mph I am told. With this gain some loss of low speed control is lost. It is easy to try, switch the props and run the shifters in reverse to go forward, and vise versa. If you like it the shifter linkage and be changed. Just beware when docking, not only is the a small amount of control lost but the shifters are also backwards. For my 29 there was no speed gain.

i use 26"Bravo One Props and make 5000 RPM and with lap 27" Mirage i make 5000 RPM too.

Do you think i win speed with 28" Bravo´s ???
What do you think about a 1,36 drive ratio and using my old 25" Mirage ????
