Are they in fact steel pontoons?

If so, it's a Galva Lift. As long as you aren't moving it via trailer and the tanks are not currently leaking you should be ok. They do develop holes over...

We see this often when people move into a marina with a lift already in the slip. When the next boater comes in they figure all is good...
