We have the 1999 272 with bone stock 502 and it runs strong. If I can ever figure out how to trim it properly, I'm guessing it's a 65mph boat under the right conditions with two passengers and < 1/2...

Squeal does not change based off of steering...

Squeal does not change based off of steering wheel position but I'll change out the PS fluid anyway considering I'm not sure the last time it was changed. Engine has 514 hours.

How many drain plugs on Mercruiser 502 MAG MPI?

Doing the winterizing myself, I found 5 of them but I thought there were 6 plugs (3 per side)? Or am I just crazy?
