I don't notice any difference in ride quality...

I don't notice any difference in ride quality when the bags are deflated and they can be adjusted from the cab if the ride is too stiff while towing. Air shocks are cheaper and easier to install.

Glad to hear he is doing well. That area is usually not choppy except if there"s a lot of boat traffic. We had driven by it earlier in the day and had lunch in the area and conditions looked good.

I go fishing 20-30 miles from land on a regular basis and crossed to Bimini from Miami (45 mi.) in my 24' CC, also gone to the Dry Tortugas from Key West (60 mi.+) in my friends 32'.
