Hope this isn't a completely stupid question, (my first boat:grinser010:) but I wanted to clean the flame arrestor on my 6.2 MPI and wasn't sure;

1. What to use (soap and water, carb cleaner etc.)...

Yeah, I will look into that Dave thanks. We are nuts about heading to the lake, so I highly doubt this will be the last boat we have. Some type of scantool or diagnostic should pay for itself quickly...

I don't know if this will help you or not but mine is a 2004 and the Clarion I took out did NOT have a aux port. I had to swap mine so I could add an ipod adapter.
