I thought about aerating the oil but the level is correct on the correct dipstick with an aftermarket higher capacity pan so I would think the oil level is ok.i have not verified that yet.new pump...

the motor has been together for this whole season have had no problems at all.put around 15-20 hours on it.doesnt sound quite the same and it seems to run just fine.could just be in my head.
