Ok, I am going to replace, both the regulator and alternator. Why would it make the belt squeal tho, any ideas?

Belt noise, Alternator? HELP

hey guys got what I think is an alternator problem, boat is a 86 Avanti 22 with a 5.7 350 Merc, replaced both belts and I am still getting a squealing noise from what I think is the alternator.

not sure I can check that out as well, also is there any sort of rebuild kit for the contacts in the lower unit for the trim gauge. or clean them with contact cleaner

hey guys so me and my brother finally pulled the trigger and bought that 1986 Avanti 22, went and ran it, all is good except when you put it all the way it bogs like, enough almost till it cuts out...

He had the outdrive replaced last fall, so I'm thinking there's a year and a half left on the warranty, I will ask him tho, is there issues with these drives, I would really like to put a bravo one...
