I'm not yet convinced "sarasota will be just fine." P1 is not exactly in the same league as sbi. if and when other big brand ul and sb class teams line up, then i'll consider it "just fine"

Artie, Clearwater is 30 mins from Tampa, so any hotel in the Tampa/St Petersburg area will be suitable. Clearwater beach itself has very nice ones too, Sandpearl, Hilton, Hyatt.
