Top Speed of 2006 Fountain 38 LX with 400 Verados (L6)

Anyone have any info on the top speed of a Fountain 38 LX with Mercury Verado (L6) 400s? I saw someone posted that they were able to get 76 mph with 350s, but that's hard to believe...anyone know?

I have a 31 ft with three 300X outboards. Thinking about trying cleavers on the two outside engines. Choppers have given a lot of bow lift but not top speed. Lightning ETs gave me better top end...

Mine is a '98. It came from the factory with twin outboards mounted on stainless marine brackets. We've got the new holes drilled now so hopefully tomorrow we can mount the bracket.

I went with a separate center bracket. I use a sport ladder on side of port bracket. Not sure how high to mount the bracket though. Guess ill have to wait for my friend to come by and measure it...
