Have questions regarding volvo dpx repairs needed

Hi, i have a 1999 powerquest 260 sx with a 454 gsi volvo engine and dpx outdrive.

i need to replace some bellows due to water coming in. I havnt had a chance to look at them

yet but a boat guy...

I have a 260sx and I always use silent choice. Ive never heard of having to have to have the boat loud after 2000 rpm. I just got the boat though, will this cause damage? It's still fairly loud...

just talked to the seller, says it ran 68 gps with 5 people in boat last summer. seems hard to believe, he says he thinks performance is better because of duo prop

looking at 99 260 legend with volvo 454

i am currently looking at a 1999 powerquest 260 legend, boat has 500 hrs, looks to be in nice shape, and comes with matching trailer, mooring cover, and bimini top. My question concerns performance....
