i have been running this setup for 4 years. I am running a dui ignition setup with a 5600rpm limiter. I am running Emi thunder exhausts with 3 inch taller risers. No issues with the flat cam at all....

I built a 468 with 2399 pistons, 088 heads, crane 134561 cam, 525sc. It made 572hp@5600rpm. I have since upped the boost from 4.5lbs to 7.5lbs. It rips. 110hours on it. Rock solid motor.

I now own this boat. It now has a 525sc in it. It made 572hp@5600. I get 74 out of it. I added full hydraulic Latham steering. Its way more stable now. The boat cruises well at 50mph.

My buddy Tony owned that boat. I hooked him up with that motor. The boat is pretty solid. seemed to always run well. I really liked the exhaust tips. Runs about 50mph.

The cam sounds pretty healthy imo. Does not sound like a 900sc or other big power, but for sure healthier than a 454 mag.
