I've owned several Magnum's and Cigarette over...

I've owned several Magnum's and Cigarette over the years 27's and 28's the quality of the Imperial was the same 6 to 8 inch thick transom zero stress cracks.... Built in Jupiter Florida not Indiana.

The 27 Imperial from 1986 has nothing to do with any other Imperial's. The 27 Imperial Offshore was produced by Don Aronow for Imperial in South Florida.

The truth about the 27 Imperial / 27 Cigarette Squadron

The 27 Imperial was made in South Florida by Don Aronow for Imperial. (Due to all the non competes at the time.) Only 20 were produced making them EXTREMELY RARE. You can tell how solid the hulls are...

does anyone know if Don Aronow built boats for Imperial?

I was wondering with all the non-competes Don Aronow had. If the 86 Imperial that seems to be the same boat as the cigarette Squadron had anything to do with I Aronow.

I purchased a 1986 27 Imperial seems to be the exact same boat as they cigarette Squadron 27 but the helm is on the starboard side. Was wondering if anybody has any more information regarding the 27...
