How about intake manifold pushed back too far when bolted down i have some intakes with excess clearance for bolt holes allowing intake to shift front to rear. Maybe look at front of intake to block...

The best luck I have had is get engine hot then pull 2 coils and use a 3/8 air impact on the socket. I do 2 at a time getting engine hot between attempts for them not breaking. They are 9/16" socket...

I use Miami corp. as well. They send samples and have anything you could need. The sail-rite machines are a little pricey but its a tool and I consider those you get what you pay for.
