Sport Steering wheel and cap

Have a couple of winter projects and one is replacing steering wheel and center cap on my 27 sport. Mines a 1976, did they all use the same wheel and cap?

Lower Gimbal shaft bushing

On the late model Bravo's they now use a plastic bushing instead of the Needle bearing and seals. Does anyone know what that plastic material is? I'd like to switch my TRS over to this.
