Default Marine Machine steering cylinder seals

Need help guys. I have a Marine Machine steering ram that is leaking. I took it apart. The wiper seal and the seal behind that is bad. How do I get the seals out? There is a brass spacer between them. I don't want to damage anything trying to remove them.

Anyone have any seal part numbers?

Thanks in advance !

It's a pain. Be careful and remember which way all seals and wipers face. I removed them with a pick and had to use a heat gun (low heat) to make them soft and pliable to put them back in. The receipt with the part #'s is for a Qty of 2 rams.

Thanks for the reply Rookie. I saw your thread. Those part numbers work for Marine Machine rams? Looking into the end cap that the shaft slides though. There is a wiper, part of the stainless steel cap, seal, and brass bushing/spacer. the brass bushing doesn't need to get removed? I can carefully work the seals in there.

Wouldn't there be 4 square o rings for 2 rams?

They fit my Marine Machine rams. I would look at your cylinder caps and compare to mine in the pic. I believe the 4 O rings you are talking about is the 4 U-Seals on the receipt.

He has a lot of stuff. I bought a tilt helm for the AT, another tilt for a friend, got new stickers for the Rams.

He has them, 95 bucks. He needs a pic of the cylinder to send the right kits.
