I have a 95 single step 29 with HP500's that I've rebuilt and added bigger cams, Dyno was 556HP with 610 torque. I'm turning 29 Hydromotive wheels and at 5200 running 81 on GPS. Just saying

I took it off and carried it to a local upholstery shop and he pulled the cover replaced wood and put cover back on for $75, wasn't worth my time to do it myself for him to do it that cheap.

Just pulled the back piece off my 29 to have the dove tail piece of wood replaced and it's as simple as removing the plugs and taking the nuts off, trim ring stays on the deck.

Motor question

I have a 29 Fountain Fever with twin HP502's, yesterday the port motor spun a rod bearing. Don't know the extent of the damage yet, but my question is if the crank turns out to be pretty bad shape...

I run Amsoil in everything I own, my biggest concern is weight. I bought the boat in the fall and the previous owner was running Valvoline racing 50 weight and that's seems to heavy to me.
