Hi folks. Just curious if you think replacing the stock flame arrestor's with something like the K&N's is worth it or not? My boat has Twin 2000 8.2L Mag MPI's. Thank you.

Thanks for your response. I typically run anywhere from 3200-3600 depending upon conditions. I’ve done a few spirited runs at the 3800-4000 runs but not for any long periods.

Hi friends -
My boat has twin 502 MPI's that are bone stock. I was curious what kind of rpm's most of you run your 502's at during a long cruise (i.e. 2, 3, 4+ hours constant)? Thanks!

Figured it out. Had a fubar plug wire. While there I changed plugs, plug wires, distributor cap/rotor, ignition module, fuel filter. She's running perfect now! Thanks!

Turns out I had bad manifold that leaked over the winter. When I started it up, had stuck valve which caused bent pushrod and a few other bad things to happen.
