Do you think that any fitting that would replace that plug would be too small/restrictive for an electric pump to work…is a guy better off to cut off the end assembly and just screw clamp a barbed...

I really did not…just keeping an eye on it for now…once I verified that the alternator was putting out good voltage to the new batteries I’m not as worried about being stranded. Seems better.

I replaced the 5 year old batts for peace of mind and I snugged up the belt a bit…1200 idle voltage at alternator is 14.6v…at back of gauge is 13.2…the gauge is showing a bit erratic.
