So did some more investigation today with an inspection camera…found a below deck cavity leading from the blower floor area to about a foot above the bottom of the bilge so I don’t need to run a 3”...

some yes out the vent and some back through the...

some yes out the vent and some back through the ports…the vent kind of meanders upwards around the molded fiberglass. The tubing will not reach.

I really did not…just keeping an eye on it for now…once I verified that the alternator was putting out good voltage to the new batteries I’m not as worried about being stranded. Seems better.

I replaced the 5 year old batts for peace of mind and I snugged up the belt a bit…1200 idle voltage at alternator is 14.6v…at back of gauge is 13.2…the gauge is showing a bit erratic.

5 year old batteries or 29 year old alternator.

First time out on the boat Saturday I noticed my alt gauge at cruise dropped around 12 volt with my Captain’s Call switch to loud…never noticed this before and it’s on my list to check out next...
