I did check the float level. it was fine. I got the carb already done that way from the same guy I bought the motor. he said it was the same type and setup as the dyno... not the same carb though......

there wasn't a huge amount of water. I ran it for about a minute and there was just a little in a couple of the ports. not really even a puddle. you can just see that its wet.

dang it!! ive been looking for this same set up but the 2" higher wont work... did you have something else at the end to make them exit right or are your holes through the transom just higher?

Yes and no. My manifolds are stainless marine and they have the v-clamp connection unlike others that have the 4 bolts. Im not sure if anybody else has the v clamp or. Ot was why i asked about that....
