So seems you did alot of experiments and I'd love to see if I can get my eagle, near where were back then.
I'm going through the hp 500 502 now, never opened, still had Mercury racing lead sealed...

25 eagle top speed recipe

What would you suggest for the best top speed and overall performance in a 25 eagle?
I bought a 97 closed bow, bravo 1, k tabs, 28 p 4 blade prop, hp 500 ( 502 or 540 not sure yet ) still running...

Today I read your posts back in 2008. Looks like about 98, blown big block, square up boat bottom, time to control chime walk, is the best a "poor" guy can get out of a 25 eagle.
