Very long shot

I know this thread is 10yr old plus.... dont supose you lnow if this guy still has a Stern Powr leg knocking about... I'm on need of another.

Kill switch problem

You could use one kill switch and wired to two relays. The kill switch could be the live or negative supply and engine Ignition running through the switched side.

Heart attack

Always give way to sail and the big guys.... but I've always give way coming out of a basin/marina or harbour and as the diagrams. But... to follow you to vent off... that guys gonna have a heart...
