Yeah and I guess in all reality........nobody is getting into the boat racing business to get rich. I'm sure you can make some money....but most is spent keeping the boat floating and the team going...

Heck I don't see how some of the Vee or Cat Extreme classes do it with only 1...

I guess the prize $$ varies by class as well.......different purses for the 850 class, etc.

But is there a way to bypass it with the throttle switch, that'd make things a whole lot easier.

I've seen some posts about wiring it by the trim pump using a jumper , but I'm not exactly sure...

I had same boat w/ 454 mag and I thought they'd knock right on the door of 70 mph, where I thought the Scarab SCS was pretty much a 75-76MPH boat. Maybe he's something he's not telling you about :) ...

You hit the nail on the head......boy was it nasty.......gunk was all in it. I cleaned out the reservoir and got it all working, comes all the way up now. The throttle switch only works going down...
