procharged hp500efi or whippled 540 carb

I am have a Whippled 540 carb'd built with all of the good internals and have found a boat that has a Procharged Hp500 EFI...which is a better setup? Is it worth doing a swap and putting the 540 in?...

Has anyone ever used Manley Severe Duty exhaust valves? Are they OK to use or should I replace them?

application will be a whippled 540.

The site is expired...

So it's about 3k for aluminum heads vs 1200 to have mine ported...is it worth the extra 1800? Where will I see a difference? I'm only looking to make 800 hp.

So there is no advantage to porting instead of Aluminum?

I think he quoted me 1200.00 to port

These are some of the parts he will be using...any suggestions?

What brackets/parts would you guy's recommend chroming or polishing?

I'm going with a carb whipple (polished of course) and want to dress it up with some "bling". Alternator bracket, drive oil...

It's a Vortec 496 that is pretty much new. I'll post more info on it later..I am willing to trade up/down/across specifically for a Imco SC 1.50 or Bravo XR 1.50....

Where can I find a efi wiring harness? The motor is a 540.

When people convert back from efi to carb do they still use the harness? Is it worth buying new or can I pick up a used one?
