does it fit tight?

They may not have machinied the pully deep enough. I would find a stud and locktite it into the shaft, then use a hardened washer and a nylon locking nut to tighten it down or have a spacer machined...

I don't know I bought them lastnight hopeing by putting a smaller pulley,H2o deletes,new demond carbs,nose cones it will turn it a little more. if not I will need 2-300rpm more

I have a set of 29 miriage plus I am thinking of purchasing, but the boat only turns 4950rpm and I would like to see at least 5200rpm. Can this be accomplished by re pitching theses labbed 29's?
