I don't think you can do better than the dual-purpose AGMs from West Marine. I get 6 years minimum from them, regardless of what they're asked to do. But, they're not cheap.

I Plan to keep the old trailer as an alternate place to keep the boat. It would need two new torsion axels ($1100 each) to make it road safe. Still OK however for my yard and local neighborhood ramp....

New plugs did the trick. I should have changed them sooner. The old plugs looked good but one of them was defective somehow.
