Your numbers are greatly skewed...you also didn't figure the costs of the engineering and architectural design, hell cnc costs for the plugs/molds alone are approaching $2.5 million. 500s less...

Same can be said about any segment of the boat market really no ?? Center Consoles, V-Bottoms, Pontoon/Tri-Toons, Dual consoles, Bow Riders etc... Many of those you mentioned are from the same molds...

I have built, sold and run quite a few 38 and 42's. Personally i wouldn't do the 2nd row bolster in the 38 as it takes up valuable deck space ( do the rear facing seat ).
